Scotty McCreery and Lauren Alaina - WireimageAmerican Idol season 10′s winner and runner-up Scotty McCreery and Lauren Alaina have completed their albums and are now ready to release some information about the sets to their fans.Scotty McCreery’s debut album, Clear As Day, will hit stores on October 4. The set is led by the sugary sweet country love song, Love You This Big.“[Clear As Day] has some old country influences and elements, but it also has a contemporary feel with fun up-tempo songs,” Scotty says of the album. “It’s a good mixture. You can hear some of the influences that I grew up with, like Hank Williams, Conway Twitty and Merle Haggard, but it still has a contemporary twist and feel that keeps it up to date.”Like winner Scotty, Lauren’s debut will see an October release date. Lauren’s first album, titled Wildflower, will arrive in stores on October 11.“I like to have a lot of fun and I’m really sassy, so I feel like a wildflower would be a good description of who I am as a person,” Alaina says of the album title.Both stars are currently out on the American Idols Live tour.
