Polygamist Kody Brown Invites Brad Pitt to Join His Family; Why it Could Work

Brad Pitt in 2007. Would you take this man to be your brother husband? Wikimedia Commons / MaggieYahoo! Contributor Network In a shameless plug for the new season of his "Sister Wives" TV show, husband-of-four Kody Brown revealed he would welcome Brad Pitt into his unconventional clan. "If there was going to be a brother husband, I would ask Brad to join the family," he told a reporter. Seeming to sympathize with his recent media snafu in which the "Moneyball" actor implied life with ex-wife Jennifer Aniston was a snore, Brown showed his bias for Pitt's current partner. "I'm an Angie guy," he confessed. "She is weird but she's genuine. She was married to Billy Bob, come on." Whether babe magnet Brown is hoping Jolie would be part of the package deal is not clear, although his comments suggest he would not mind having the "Salt" star hang around his harem. Despite the preposterous nature of Brad Pitt joining Kody Brown in his peculiar marriage arrangement, we have to admit there could be some hidden advantages. Here are a few perks the "Fight Club" star might consider: No more nannies: With Brown's four wives serving as built-in babysitters, the Jolie-Pitts would no longer have to endure the nuisance of hiring nannies for their children. They could even make simultaneous movies knowing their children were being fawned over by members of their new family. Curtains for Camp Angie vs. Camp Jen: With four new wives to compare her to, Angelina Jolie could finally put the media-fed Camp Angie vs. Camp Jen rivalry to bed. She would finally have new women -- Kody's wives Christine, Janelle, Meri and Robyn Brown -- for the media to focus on. Jolie would have built-in buddies: One of the biggest knocks on the pouty-lipped brunette has always been her lack of female buddies. With her new sister wives, the "Girl, Interrupted" actress would always have a flock of friends to go shopping with. Pitt might seem more normal in comparison: Since hooking up with his exotic girlfriend, the "Meet Joe Black" star has taken on the aura of being an oddball. But compared to Kody Brown, the Missouri native seems as normal as Jay Pritchett. Polygamist husband Brown has justified his wife collecting by comparing himself to other animals with multiple mates, such as rhinos and lions -- and he slyly pits his wives against each other with the finesse of a pageant mom. Viewed side by side with such batty behavior, traipsing around the world unshaven with six kids could seem relatively tame.
