Contributor Network Country music fans are still reeling from the tragic events of Saturday night's Sugarland concert. As the country music duo prepared to sing, a storm and strong winds caused the concert stage to collapse, killing five people at the Indiana State Fair and injuring dozens more. Sugarland's Twitter account (@Sugarlandmusic) bore the somber message, "We are all right. We are praying for our fans, and the people of Indianapolis. We hope you'll join us. They need your strength. Actors and singers alike turned out to express their grief and sympathy over Twitter. Here's a look at how some celebrities expressed their condolences. Sara Bareilles (@SaraBareilles), who opened for Sugarland, tweeted, "I'm speechless and feel so helpless. Please send love and prayers to Indianapolis tonight. My heart aches for the lives lost." Singer Blake Shelton (@blakeshelton) offered his support, tweeting, "My Prayers to the people at the Sugarland concert in Indianapolis....Absolutely shocking and hard to comprehend....Beyond belief...." Later, Shelton expressed his frustration regarding the circumstances of the tragedy. He tweeted angrily, "4 confirmed dead....The more I see and learn about this the sicker I am....Storms and high winds!!! When will we learn?" Actress Holly Marie Combs (@HDonoho) said via Twitter, "Thoughts and prayers are with the Sugarland fans and families." Keith Urban (@KeithUrban) expressed his disbelief at the collapse, saying "I just saw the footage from Indiana State Fair tonight on youtube and am absolutely in shock. We send our prayers and thoughts to each and (sic) everyone of you who were there and your families and loved ones as well. God bless you all - KU." Singer Brad Paisley (@BradPaisley) tweeted, "Really sad about the Sugarland stage collapse. What a tragedy." Broadway singer and actress Kristin Chenoweth (@KChenoweth) said "My heart goes out to Indiana and Sugarland." The Twitter account for the band Little Big Town (@LBTmusic) conveyed the members' collective sadness, saying "Our hearts are heavy this morning for the people of Indiana and our dear friends in Sugarland. Our thoughts and prayers are with you." Martina McBride (@martinamcbride) also weighed in on the disaster, saying "So sad to hear about the State Fair in Indianapolis. Our prayers are with Sugarland, their fans, and all the personnel working there." In a second tweet, she said, "And most importantly, our prayers are with the families of the injured and the families of the four people who were killed." Country music legend Reba McEntire (@reba) summed up the disaster, saying "What happened in Indianapolis tonight is what promoters, artists, crews and fans pray never happens. From my band, crew and the entire Starstruck organization, we send our thoughts and prayers to the 4 people who lost their lives tonight and to everyone who was at the concert. Jennifer and (sic) Kristen, I love you both." LeAnn Rimes (@leannrimes) stated, "My heart goes out to everyone who experienced the horrific event at the Indiana St. Fair last night. Prayers for the families that lost loved ones." Actor/singer James Maslow (@jamesmaslow) offered his sympathy, saying "My heart and prayers go out to everyone at the Sugarland show tonight at the Indiana state fair. God bless those who left us or are hurt."
